Quick and Easy Ghraybeh Cookies

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup of ghee (solid)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Drop of rose water

  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • Optional: pistachios 

Equipment:

  • Oven

  • Mixing bowl

  • Spatula

  • Measuring cups

  • Electric hand mixer

  • Baking sheet

  • Parchment paper

  • Cooling rack

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Add ghee and powdered sugar into a medium mixing bowl, mix until combined using electric hand mixer

  3. Add rose water and flour to the mixture, mix using a spatula until a dough forms

  4. Shape dough into 12 balls and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper 

  5. Using your thumb, press down on each cookie to make a small dimple. Optional: add a pistachio in the dimple of the dough

  6. Bake for about 15 minutes until cookies are golden brown

  7. Let sit for a few minutes then place on a cooling rack
